Your Role on the Team
We are seeking a Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist, based in Boston, MA, who will analyze NGS data to identify promising therapeutic molecules, as well as construct & maintain analysis pipelines. The successful candidate will also develop new analytical approaches (e.g., via machine learning and artificial intelligence) and collaborate closely with a small, talented team of computational biologists and biologists.
Develop NGS/bioinformatic/analytical pipelines
Interrogate processed NGS data through plotting and statistical analysis
Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, or related discipline, Ph.D preferred
Experience analyzing RNA-seq and other functional genomic data, e.g., ChIP-Seq, Ribosome profiling, or Massively Parallel Reporter Assays
Capabilities in R and other programming language and databases, e.g. C++, Java, SQL
Fluency in cloud computing, Matlab, Perl/Python, Unix
Prior experience in simulations / in silico experimentation
Fluency in machine learning and artificial intelligence
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
