Your Role on the Team
We are seeking a Bioinformatician / Computational Biologist based in the Boston-area to analyze NGS data to identify promising therapeutic molecules, as well as construct & maintain analysis pipelines. The successful candidate will develop new analytical approaches e.g., using machine learning and artificial intelligence. She/he will also collaborate closely on a small, talented team of computational biologists and biologists.
Develop and maintain NGS analysis pipelines
Interrogate processed NGS data through plotting and statistical analysis
Master’s or Batchelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, or related discipline
Postgraduate experience in bioinformatics / computational biology
Experience analyzing NGS data including RNA-seq
Fluency in R and other programming language and databases, e.g. C++, Java, SQL
Fluency in cloud computing, Matlab, Perl/Python, Unix
Fluency in simulations / in silico experimentation,
Fluency in machine learning and artificial intelligence
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
