Your Role on The Team

We are seeking an Associate Scientist II to join our Gene Therapy Design team. In this role, you'll create designer nucleic acids with therapeutic potential. The successful candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to work in a dynamic environment. A commitment to the collective success of the team is essential.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and analyze small-scale and large-scale screens aimed at advancing our therapeutic designer nucleic acids
  • Design and clone plasmids
  • Support the creation and expansion of the company’s intellectual property
  • Maintain detailed records using ELN

Required Education / Experience

  • BS or MS in molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, or related field
  • 1-2 years industry experience
  • Eagerness to learn and receptive to feedback
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills


  • Expertise in pre-mRNA molecular biology
  • Experience cloning large plasmid libraries
  • Experience with high-throughput, barcoded, RNA-seq assays
  • Experience coding in R preferred
