Job Summary 

GentiBio is seeking motivated Senior Associate Scientists to join our Platform Development team in Boston. The successful candidates will design and execute in vitro assays to characterize EngTregs in support of platform development. We are searching for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about working at the bench to advance programs and solve technical challenges. This role offers exposure to an organizational and company build, leadership, and ample opportunities to be a high-impact trailblazer in the emerging field of regulatory T-cell therapy. 

Job Responsibilities  

  • Foster the culture of seeking and giving help, inclusion, authenticity, and fun  
  • Isolate, culture, and engineer primary mouse and human immune cells   
  • Work closely with the team to design and perform immunoassays to characterize engineered Tregs  
  • Ensure data collection is captured in electronic laboratory notebooks and databases  
  • Perform data analysis, summarize results in study reports, and provide regular updates at internal meetings 

Qualifications and Education Requirements   

  • BS in cell biology, immunology, or related field and 5+ years of relevant industry experience OR
  • MS in relevant field with 2+ years of industry experience 
  • Hands-on experience with primary cells (T cell culture preferred) 
  • Experience with one or more of the following techniques/assays: MACS, FACS, and MLR assays    
  • Familiarity with electroporation, viral transduction and genome engineering preferred   
  • Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to execute experiments with rigor and maintain clear and complete records of lab work 
  • Exceptional teamwork and communication skills with ability to embrace change and multi-task in a fast-growing environment
